FE Electrical and Computer – Where can I find the FE Exam Formula Equation Sheet?

While taking the NCEES® FE Electrical and Computer exam, you will have access to the latest version (10.0.1) of the FE Reference Handbook, which is a 498-page PDF that will help you find the FE exam formula sheet equation.

It is a comprehensive document containing numerous equations, constant values, and more useful information related to the FE Exams study for all disciplines. This handbook can be downloaded for free directly from the NCEES® website.

Since FE Reference Handbook is quite comprehensive, finding different formulas and equations can be quite time-consuming.

Engineering Concept

Let’s face it, exams are a high-pressure game and can be quite stressful even for the most prepared candidates. With 110 timed questions covering practically the entire undergraduate engineering curriculum, there are certainly going to be some questions that will surprise you. Although getting surprised is inevitable, one thing you can do to mitigate the stress is to familiarize yourself with the test-taking format so that it doesn’t feel novel and alien to you on test day.

Even though computer-based tests are becoming more and more common, the fact remains that most of us are still much more comfortable with the old school pencil and paper type tests, especially if that’s how you took the exams during your academic career.

We advise going through a few computer-simulated practice exams and study guides are great resources to help you prepare for the FE exam. Getting a feel for the real test will help you tackle the problems effectively on your exam day.

Remember, the time it takes to prepare for the FE exam varies depending on your capabilities. There can be many challenges when preparing for the FE exam. In case you’re on the fence about attempting the FE exam, we recommend checking out our separate article where we’ve covered FE exam preparation tips.
